This course is designed to help the student ‘think like an economist’ – by applying economics concepts to make sense of the world: especially the business world, but hopefully also ‘the world’ in general.
The course covers a range of topics, including macroeconomics and microeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy, the international economy, labour market economics, banking and the financial system, behavioural economics, and game theory.
